Abstrakt

Silymarin is a popular over-the-couter drug and food supplement. However, only limited data are available on its cardiovascular effects.

In this study, we analyzed the vasorelaxant and antiplatelet effects of a row of pure isolated silymarin flavonolignans and their sulphated metabolites.
