Older people change themselves as well as our world

Abstract

About ageing and older people's activities in public interest. The third and fourth ages, the healthy and the ill, active and passive.

What do healthy and successful ageing mean? And what follows from that for an every-day life of older people? "Non-digital" social networks versus loneliness. A longevity spent in health (Okinawa, Sardinia).

How do people cope with their old age and ageing? What about their activities in public interest? What do those activities bring to older people themselves and to the society?
