Abstract

Lack of physical activity is a serious problem for modern society and this trend has a noticeable effect on children and adolescents. The regular physical activity that secondary school students come in contact with is physical education.

It has an important role in shaping the relationship to physical activity in general. Its positive assessment is therefore a prerequisite for a positive influence on the individual.

The aim of the study was to analyse students with insufficient movement regimes (hypoactive), students sufficiently active, and to determine the difference of their opinions on school physical education. Of the 315 students of trade schools enrolled in the study, 93 of them (56 boys and 37 girls) showed hypo activity.

Based on the results from the questionnaire used, it can be said that the hypoactive group evaluates physical education more negatively. From the hypoactive adolescents studied, physical education lessons were found less favourable because they are physically demanding and their perceived lack of talent.
