Abstract
The publication summarizes the knowledge of cross-country skiing training of the young generation concerning its specifics. Increased attention is paid to psychological aspects in terms of the types of personalities of competitors, coaches and their mutual interaction.
The publication was produced as a concrete output of the ERASMUS+ European grant, the results of which were successfully presented at the FIS Commission at the Youth and Children Cross-Country Commission at its meeting in Dubrovnik in 2019. The project presentation and the project as such were received with recognition.
It is an interesting and not frequent cooperation of sports clubs and ski associations in Central Europe.
