Abstract
The text deals first with the possibilities of using metaphor in research as a data source, analytical tool for working with them and forms of communication of the result. He also specifically studies theater metaphor / dramaturgical metaphor as a paradigm or a means of exploration.
It reminds eg E. Goffman and contemporary author J.
Vostrý and scenologic approach to the research of extra-theater phenomena. It also presents examples of the use of theater metaphor, scene or performance in the research of everyday behavior, landscape or in the analysis of demonstration lessons in teacher training.
