Abstract
Malignant mesothelioma represents an aggressive tumor of serous membranes with limited treatment options and poor prognosis regardless the staging at tha time of diagnosis. Recent Czech standards of care include surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
International guidelines additionally recommend immunotherapy and targeted therapy as a possible modality od treatment based on clinical trials data.
