Gender Aspects of the Institutional and Protective Education - One of The Missing Pieces of the Mosaic

Abstract

The article focuses on one of the neglected topics of the social work and related helping professions, ie. gender aspects and issues of institutional and protective education in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to highlight the importance of the critical assessment of gender stereotypes in the context of this specific area of the institutional education and the social and legal protection of children.
