Abstract
The Courage to Disagree: The Feminist Thought of Hana Havelková and Critical Reflections is the first publication that is dedicated to comprehensively introducing the main thoughts, concepts and tenets from the life-work of Hana Havelková. The book consists of sixteen seminal, carefully selected texts from her extensive bibliography from the beginning of the 1990s to the present, in which she formulated her central arguments, concepts and theories.
Hana Havelková's original essays are accompanied by twenty-five contributions from her colleagues and former students, both Czech and foreign, who were inspired by the thematic focus of her work, further develop her thoughts, pay homage to her scholarly and pedagogical career and last, but not least, honor her charismatic personality.
