Abstract

The author of this publication shares the results of the socio-cultural research "Why do I study Russian" that was conducted in the Republic of Tajikistan in 2019 with the purpose of identifying the dominant ideas in motivation and offers a methodological interpretation of the problem of enhancement in motivation in the process of teaching Russian language.
