Extinct landscape of mountain farming in the Bohemian Forest

Abstract

The article prepared within the project NAKI II "Heritage of extinct landscapes: identifi cation, reconstruction and presentation" deals with landscape change in the area of extinct traditional mountain farming in the village of Prášily (the Bohemian Forest). Heritage of lost landscape is presented using a historical land use / land cover map from 1837 (so called Stable cadastre map) in comparison with a current map and by 3D photorealistic model of the extinct village Hůrka.
