Why not sociographic method? An essay on a half forgotten method that can be suitable for social work

Abstract

The paper provides the information on the sociographic method which may be effectively used in social work research. It refers to the historical use of sociography in the Austrian research on unemployment and presents its strong traits which predict a productive use in social work today.
