Publication at Catholic Theological Faculty |
2018

Abstract

The study deals with the question of the town, diocese and district of Nitra in the years 1918-1938. It focuses mainly on the events connected to Slovak church history which became an important part of Czechoslovak diplomatic matters after the establishment of the republic in 1918.

It were not only these events which reached their zenit by the consacration of the three Slovak bishops in 1921 and ended up with the arrival of the first Czechoslovak President T. G.

Masaryk to Nitra in 1923.
