Abstract
Texts presented at the 4th International Conference on the Balkans (Prague, December 2017). They addressed the question: What we did not see, what we did not want to see, what we forgot when we deal with the Balkans? They drew attention to marginalized social, ethnic, religious groups, overlooked personalities, forgotten facts, phenomena and processes considered insignificant or sensitive.
They viewed them with regard to the past and the present, in relation to the places and their social actors and to the memory that participates in the situation of people in social reality.
