Abstrakt
The lecture follows Elias Lönnrot's roles in the creation of the Kalevala fiction space. On the examples of thematic unit of the journey to the underworld and of the motif of a ferryman the lecture illustrates the work of Elias Lönnrot with the original oral poems and changes in the mythological fiction world throughout various versions of the epic.
