Abstract

The authors identified important factors that influence the development of the professional identity of teacher assistants: a) general attitudes of teachers to the profession of teacher assistant; (b) a clear definition of competences between teachers and teacher assistants; (c) the ability of a teacher to appreciate the work of a teacher assistant and to use it as another source of information about students.
