It was always suggested that the antiphonary III D 10 from the Czech National Library stems from Bohemia or Silesia and it was written at the end of 15th century. However, a new codicological analysis and contents of the liturgical part show that the manuscript was written already shortly before 1450 and the original provenance is the Passau diocese.
This presentation shows how this changes our knowledge about the musical repertoire in III D 10, especially Latin songs and their transmission across Central Europe, and what do we know about the musical history of Passau.
