Abstract

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is currently seen as a complex disease with different musculoskeletal and skin manifestations as well as associated diseases. It should therefore be referred to as "psoriatic disease" rather than psoriatic arthritis.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, glucocorticoids, and disease-modifying drugs synthetic, targeted, and biological are used to treat this disease. The recommendations of the Czech Rheumatology Society are based mainly on European League Against Rheumatism recommendations and include not only indications of individual groups of preparations but also suggestions on how to evaluate the activity of individual manifestations of the disease.

Treatment is divided into four levels. Among them, the occurrence and severity of the manifestations and the efficacy of the preparations used can be changed.
