Abstract

The early concordist era of a Belgian priest and scientist Georges Lemaître, during which he synthesized his ideas on the interpretation of Genesis 1 with the conclusions of modern physics, served as an inspirational basis for his later scientific thinking about the primeval atom - a hypothesis that was later transformed into the Big Bang Theory. In addition, the subsequent receptions of the Big Bang Theory were also marked by religious or biblical overlaps.
