Abstract

The study deals with Czechoslovak-Yugoslav relations in the first half of the 1980s, in the period from the death of J. B.

Tito to the demise of Soviet leader K. U.

Chernenko. The relations of these two countries are analysed in the context of Yugoslavia attitude and approach to the USSR and the Soviet bloc in general.

The paper focuses at political issues as well as social aspects of mutual relations.
