Imitation - multiplication - reconstruction. Munich dancers at Konopiště and collecting strategies of Franz Ferdinand d'Este

Abstract

The article is devoted to imitations of statues of Erasmus Grasser (around 1480), acquired by Franz Ferdinand d'Este for a collection at Konopiště, and to collecting strategies of medieval art of the successor to the Habsburg throne at the beginning of the 20th century.
