Abstract
The book is one of the most extensive Czech publications about the complex of problems of nutrition and dietetics. The publication includes the problems of both children and adults, and is divided into a general and a special part.
The special part deals with individual diseases, not only from the clinical perspective, but includes also sections focusing on genetics and psychological issues of nutrition. A separate chapter describes enteral and parenteral nutrition.
