Abstract
In dermatology in Czech Republic there are biologicals for treatment of psoriasis, chronic urticaria and melanoma available, and now also for treatment of atopic dermatitis- the first one is dupilumab. The introduction of biologicals into the treatment of atopic dermatitis indicates the further release of new drug groups.
The positive side effect is the revision of the existing drugs, especially ciclosporine A and methotrexate. This together could lead to treatment of more patiens with severe atopic dermatitis than yet - the relative undertreament is a worldwide fact.
