Abstract
This chapter summarizes the findings about liturgical chant in Prague's cathedral at the very beginning of its existence. Based on historical evidence and source analysis, the likely origins of Prague's liturgical tradition could be stated and suggest some influences on the Prague rite during subsequent centuries.
