Guillermo Verdugo, agent and informant of Franz von Dietrichstein

Abstract

The aim of the presentation was to introduce the neglected life stories of the Spanish nobleman Guillermo Verdugo, who is mentioned by the historiography only in the context of the Battle of White Mountain. This research mainly focuses on his activities during his service for the Bishop of Olomouc and Cardinal Franz von Dietrichstein in the context of current research of agents and informal social networks.
