Abstract
The book deals with selected foreign journeys of Bohemian and Austrian nobility undertaken in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The attention was paid to the stays of Johann Rudolf Czernin of Chudenitz, Alois I.
Joseph of Liechtenstein, Leopold I. Berchtold, Hugo Franz of Salm-Reifferscheidt and Archduke John of Austria and to the analysis of these journeys concerning the field of culture, science and technology.
