The Bible in the Libraries of the Czech Nobility: A Collector's Artifact or a Sign of Confessional Identity?

Abstract

This paper deals with the collections of the Bible in the large aristocratic libraries at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, especially the Rosenberg and Hoffmann libraries.
