Abstrakt
The Center for Ibero-American Studies of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University organised a one-day international workshop, which took place on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Špork Palace (Room 303) from 13.00-18.00. The introductory lecture on the issue of arts and crafts in Latin America was given by Dora Ramos from El Colegio de la Frontera Sur in Mexico.
The workshop was held in cooperation with SIAS FF UK, KREAS and El Colegio de la Frontera Sur. The working languages were English and Spanish.
In addition to individual contributions devoted to the issue of arts and crafts in the non-European world, attention was paid also to the practice. The aim of the workshop was s a discussion focused mainly on topics such as territoriality, the environment, identity formation, migration, cultural identity and heritage, tourism, fair trade, women's work, racism or copyright.
