The Use of the Internet Portal The Alphabet of Czech Cultural Studies in the Teaching of Czech for Foreigners with Samples

Abstract
The so-called Cultural Studies (realia) play an important role in foreign language teaching. This also applies to teaching Czech to foreigners.
Printed factual teaching materials become very outdated very quickly. Therefore, it is very advantageous to use electronic materials in teaching.
One of them may be the upcoming internet portal Alphabet of Czech Cultural Studies, which is being created at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic NAKI II. The author presents examples of entries from this portal and also provides didactic instructions on how to work with this portal in teaching Czech for foreigners.
