Abstract
The paper describes workshop on how small neodymium magnets can be used in simple experiments in physics teaching and learning to help to study features of magnetic field of conductors with current. The experiments concern magnetic field in the vicinity of straight conductor, in the centre and on the axis of a circular conductor (one turn of a coil) and in a solenoid; and also mutual interaction of magnet and small coil with current.
