Memoirs of Ludmila Petrushevskaya "Little girl from Metropol" is a confirmation of her strong affection to various forms of autobiographism in the contemporary russian literature and represents its essayistic tendencies. It greatly contributes to a deeper personality knowledge of this nowadays russian authoress.
At the same time, it broadens possibilities of interpretation and a rich literary legacy. The book is not only the manual of her personal key trauma periods but also shows these traumas in a context of the whole society.
