Abstrakt
The aim of the present paper is to present a research project aimed at the creation and verification of a development course for in-service EFL teachers (part of continuing education programme). The course focuses on the introduction of a concept of translation complying with the principles of Language Didactics and at the same time avoiding unnecessary reduction reflecting its full potential with respect to Translation Studies and tries to encourage EFL teachers to reflect on L1 use in their EFL classes and following this conception of translation to offer a range of activities enriching their repertoire.
