Abstract
The contribution is based on a survey carried out in the Czech Republic. Specifically, the survey was about the religious sentiments of the Czechs, their assessment of the importance of Christianity for Europe and especially for Czech society and its culture in the face of "Czech atheism".
In addition to the presentation and analysis of the research results, the article asks in particular about the enduring Christian heritage in a context of radical secularity.
