Abstract

The paper brings new findings to the workshop practice of Master I.W. based on newly discovered panel paintings depicting so-called strong women. The author concludes that there originated cycles of paintings with these popular themes in the workshop, the purpose of which was to decorate the seats of Bohemian nobility or burghers.
