Abstract
The review briefly presents ten studies from the proceedings "Variety of Czech and Czech as a Foreign Language", bringing a number of valuable knowledge, results, facts, topics, points of views on the subject exceeding preparation, realization and evaluation of Czech lessons for foreign-language pupils or speakers. The thematics of the proceedings are generally related to linguistics and general language education, since in practice reflecting the current processes of pervasive globalization and intercultural communication, it includes, directly and indirectly, all participants in social life.
The proceedings thus contribute to the current stimuli for further research on Czech oriented sociolingvistically, stylistically and in relation to language management.
