Introduction: Expert roots of postsocialism: research perspectives and methodological tools

Abstract

In the introductory chapter of the collective monograph, the author puts the team endeavour into the context of the previous research of late socialism and post-communist transformation, especially the so-called neoliberal hegemony thesis. Further he analyzes historical and sociological approaches to the study of expert groups.

In the final part he characterizes the individual chapters of the monograph and outlines connections between them.
