Abstract
The proponents of political correctness are trying to soften the language on the minorities. By trying to meet the demands of the others we actually stop them from entering the discussion and from allowing them to participate politically on the whole social framework.
Far-right is earning political points by not accepting the rules of PC and is even using irony for its political advantage. The more politically correct language becomes the more resistance we get from the majority which sees that the the social issues are still being generated.
According to Žižek political correctness is keeping us from addressing the real social issues of the minorities by distracting politics to the way we speak about them so that their situation stays the same.
