The biographical study is devoted to the outstanding Jewish, German-English-Czech, geographer Julie Moscheles. She worked at the German University in Prague and since 1921 with the support of T.
Masaryk at Charles University, published on various fields of geography throughout Europe and the USA and engaged in the international promotion of Czechoslovakia. Her case shows how difficult and complicated the situation of women who tried to pursue an academic career was at both universities, but also the problems of originally German speaking Jewish scholars in Czech society.
