Global production networks, foreign investment and supplier linkages in the automotive industry integrated peripheries

Abstrakt

The chapter analyzes the quality and quantity of supplier linkages in the automotive industry of Slovakia as an example of the integrated periphery of the contemporary European automotive industry. It also analyses the mode of integration of foreign and domestic automotive firms in Slovakia into transnational automotive production networks.
