Abstract
The text deals with crisis typical of advanced age; factors conducive to the crises; distinctive aspects of intervening with seniors in crisis - their strengths and weaknesses for this target group- The chapter provides typology of calls over the senior hotline and a task model of handling a loss of a close person as such situation is commonly encountered in this target group.
