Abstract
The study enquires into Ingarden's concept "drawing toward quality" as a kind of place of indeterminacy in his theory of aesthetic experience, which is rather neglected by him. Based on husserlian phenomenology and contemporary cognitive sciences the presented approach states the very beginning of aesthetic experience into the field of affect heuristic and outside of the aesthetic experience proper.
