Abstract
Around half of the people with MS can exhibit cognitive deficit throughout the disease course. Cognitive deficit in MS population are closely related to higher risk of quality life worsening, worse disease prospects and earlier loss of employment.
We discuss practical advices, tips and obstacles in the neuropsychological assessment in Czech RS centers. Neuropsychological batteries BICAMS and MACFIMS have been validated for the use in Czechia and, as the minimal standard for cognitive functions monitoring in MS, annual evaluation by the test SDMT is recommended.
