Abstract
The chapter deals with used of the automobile in dramatic work. The automobile and the theater have been connected to each other since the creation of the automobile.
The role of the car in theater plays has varied, from the personification of freedom, chaos, danger, through the symbol of a new era, the emancipation of women to a solid, more or less respected vocation, ort he background of a developing story, but also as an integral part of the narrative.
