Findings of the photosynthetic euglenoids Euglena sanguinea in the Podblanicko region, Central Bohemia

Abstract

The findings of the euglenophyte Euglena sanguinea in the region of Podblanicko (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic) are presented in this contribution. In two examined localities (Ostrov and Předbořice villages ponds) with the occurrence of this euglenophyte was analyzed also water quality, sunshine during the day and maximum air temperatures in 2018-2019.

Preliminary results in this paper may inspire further research.
