Abstrakt
Plenary lecture at the international fennistic conference dealt with language ideology, language standards and political corectness in various historical eras in Finland and in Czechoslovakia. On several examples it showed how these features can affect vocabulary of Finnish and Czech (e.g. neekeri, punikki and lahtari, sosialismi).
Parallel corpus InterCorp and tools of corpus analyses were used.
