Abstract
The Article is devoted to Ester Krumbachovám artist of film and the film The Murder of Mr. Devil (1970) as it was expressed in various media (background story, radio adaptation, and scripts).
We study the film on levels - which are "fatal" for the medium of film: the perfection of the film's mie-en-scene, the exuberance and hilarity of its orality, and the sophism of its philosophical humor.
