Abstract
The peaceful period between Christmas and New Year's Eve 2018 was suddenly disrupted by the General Crime Department of the Hradec Kralove Regional Police Directorate in Hradec Kralove on 29 December 2018, when the Operations Officer called the Regional Directorate's departure group to leave the train station in the very center of Nachod. The reason for the exit was to find a male body without a head, and the head was found a few tenths of an inch from the body.
Both parts of the body were relatively far from the track, and the finding did not indicate a railway accident. Given the nature of the finding and the high probability of violent crime committed against the victim, the presence of a regional exit group at the scene of the crime was thus requested.
