Abstrakt
At the turn of the previous and the present millennia, the role of universities and other higher education institutions abroad, and the later even in your country, has gradually begun to change considerably. In addition to the emphasis on quality education and highly specialized scientific and research efforts, the transfer of knowledge developed at higher education institutions has become increasingly relevant, useful for further research, but also for industry and the broader social development.
This process is generally called the "third mission" of higher education and research, an equally important pillar of the mission and further development of universities.
