Subject Informatics (ICT) and digital literacy

Abstract

Digital literacy and the very content of the subject Informatics (ICT) are closely related. The aim of this paper is to show teachers the possibilities of digital literacy development directly in the subject Informatics for the second level of primary school and secondary school.

The presentation will show examples of different types of digital educational resources, which on the content of current or future FEP (SEP) show a close connection with digital literacy, such as a board didactic game on cyber security, work with data in the created world Minecraft (or Kodu) or managing traffic situations with mBoty (developing algorithmic thinking).
