Arubi in Maghreb. Female oral tradition and the poetics of branch

Abstract

Hispanic-Moorish female oral poetry has a long tradition and also affects the contemporary form of Maghreb literature. The genre of arubi confirms the general provisions, but at the same time, as the edge of the voice, it inclines to the side of the marginalized ones and opens up free space in the normative environment of dominant discourse by its desire for the "other".
