Abstract

This paper is focused on the development of pre-literacy in preschool age. It focuses on the development of motivation to reading, the use of reading strategies, cooperation with the family, development of reading literacy among children with different mother tongue.

It presents the possible ways of working with texts, projects supporting reading, ways of diagnosing potential risks in the child's development. It brings concrete ideas for activities supporting the development of reading skills.
